FAQs Conga 5090

La Conga 5090 It is a high-end robot vacuum cleaner, presented in 2019, that aspires to excellence in all sections.

Perhaps what is most striking about this device is its cyclonic technology, which allows it to reach 8.000 Pascals, far above other competing robots.

But not only that. The 5090 has high scores in each of its characteristics. There are practically no aspects in which it is not at the forefront, above the competition.

Below we break down some of the doubts that may arise for users of this super robot, the best on the market today. And if you want to know more about this excellent robot, you can see it in our in-depth analysis.

Conga 5090

Do you want to clean your house a little more thoroughly, in addition to disinfecting? With the Conga 5090 you can, as this video tells you:

What will you find in this article?

General

La Conga 5090 is a multifunction robot. Can it do all 4 functions at the same time?

Yes, this is a feature of the range Conga from Cecotec. The 5090 continues in this same line, and Thanks to All in One technology, you can sweep, vacuum, mop and scrub simultaneously.

In the case of the Conga 5090, It has 2 tanks: the cyclonic tank, exclusively for solids, and a mixed tank, with two compartments, one for water and another to store solid waste, so that they are not mixed in any case.

Is it suitable Conga 5090 for all types of floors?

Yes, la Conga 5090 does an extraordinary job on all types of floors, above any competing robot.

Conga 5090 cleaning the bathroom

To start with, it has a very high suction power; Its 8.000 Pascals of maximum power are ideal for capturing dirt hidden in long-haired and/or thicker carpets, as well as in floor joints..

In addition, it incorporates various brushes, which allows greater versatility when cleaning:

  • The multifunction bristle and silicone brush does a good job on all types of floors, especially carpets, where it captures trapped dirt.
  • The BestFriend Care rubber brush is ideal in homes with pets and/or where there is a lot of hair, since, due to its special design, it avoids tangles.
  • In turn, the Innovative Jalisco microfiber brush provides never-before-seen cleaning on hard floors, achieving up to triple the cleaning efficiency, compared to the classic bristle and silicone brush.
Brushes Conga 5090

Furthermore, as is common in high-end robots, the Conga 5090 It has Turbo Clean Carpet technology. The robot's sensors detect when it is on a carpet and increase the power automatically, for a better result on this type of surface.

And on hard floors, if you wish, you can use the mop for an even better result.

Logically, the use of the robot, as usual, is for indoors.

I have a very large home. What surface is it capable of cleaning?

La Conga 5090 reaches a great autonomy, up to 240 minutes, thanks to its optimized software and its huge 6.400 mAh battery.

On the other hand, its navigation system is the most advanced on the market, since it combines a laser sensor and an optical sensor, so that It is capable of cleaning approximately one square meter per minute (or even more, depending on the size of the rooms, the layout and the obstacles there may be).

laser mapping

In any case, if this were not enough, The robot has Total Surface 2.0 technology, So, if it doesn't finish cleaning the entire house, it will return by itself to the base and, once loaded, it will continue cleaning in the place where it left off.

The autonomy does not reach four hours. Because?

La Conga 4090 has an autonomy of up to 4 hours, thanks to its huge battery.

Logically, this is under optimal conditions (i.e. at the Eco power level, on hard floors, without obstacles, etc.).

When the robot turns (to avoid obstacles, to access difficult areas, clean nooks, etc.) or overcomes heights (for example, when climbing a carpet or a joint), it consumes battery.

However, possibly The most determining aspect is the level of power used. This robot has four levels, as detailed in the following question, although from the lowest it offers very high suction power.

Logically, if the highest powers are used more often (especially the ultrapower of 8.000 Pascals), its autonomy will be reduced.

The number of carpets in the home is also important., because in these it will increase the power level.

What is the power of the Conga 5090? How is it advisable to use it?

The brushless digital motor of the Conga It provides extraordinary performance, as well as quieter operation and longer useful life.

Brushless digital motor

The maximum suction power of the Conga 5090 is 8.000 Pascals. This figure multiplies by four that of some of the most qualified robots in the competition.and Xiaomi Vacuum 2, Xiaomi Vacuum 1S, Roborock S6 or neato d7.

This power is ideal for capturing dirt that is trapped in long pile and/or very dense carpets., although, logically, it reduces the autonomy of the robot (which, however, has an impressive 6.400 mAh battery).

The 5090 has 4 power levels:

  • At Eco level, it reaches 1.500 Pascals, a figure that is at the maximum level of many mid-range robots and even equals the maximum of a high-end robot that has just been released on the market. how is he Deebot 950.
  • In normal mode it reaches 3.000 Pascals, above the maximum power of any other robot on the market., including his sister, the Conga 4090, which would be the second most powerful robot, but "only" reaches 2.700 Pascals (a figure that, we repeat, is very notable).
  • The Turbo mode reaches 6.000 Pascals, so it would triple the most powerful ones of the competition.
  • Ultra mode reaches 8.000 Pascals, allowing you to achieve optimal results on long-pile and/or thick carpets.

The normal thing will be to vacuum in Eco mode and in Normal mode, to maximize the autonomy of the robot, leaving the Turbo mode and the Ultra mode for those situations in which they are necessary, either because there is a high degree of dirt or due to the type of surface (as we indicated previously, long-haired and/or very dense carpets).

How do you clean the carpets?

La Conga 5090 is the robot vacuum cleaner that cleans carpets best, there is no other that comes close. Its Ultra mode reaches 8.000 Pascals and is ideal for cleaning carpets, especially if they are thick and/or have long hair.

Moreover, Thanks to the design of its wheels and suspension, it is capable of exceeding up to 2 centimeters in height, so it has no problems with carpets of a certain thickness.

In addition, it includes Turbo Clean Carpet technology. Its sensors automatically detect when it is placed on a carpet and activate the Turbo, for an optimal result..

It also doesn't seem to have problems with dark carpets or certain designs (as happens to some models from other brands).

Do you clean under furniture?

The only limitation that this robot has is that the height of the furniture is sufficient. Due to its laser turret, Its height reaches 9,6 centimeters, it is somewhat taller than robots whose navigation system is not based on laser; As a guide, the Roombas, which do not include this turret, are around 9 centimeters, while the Conga with gyroscopic navigation they move between 7,5 and 8).

How often do you have to replace the robot's spare parts?

In the app itself, the robot estimates the useful life of the different elements. Depending on what the robot is used for It can be estimated, for use a couple of times a week, a duration of approximately one year.

Is it the Conga 5090 suitable for homes with pets?

Yes, la Conga 5090 is one of the most suitable robots on the market for homes with animals.

First, Its Cy-Clean cyclonic technology allows microparticles to be effectively separated from the air flow, optimizing the result and contributing to a cleaner environment. Its high-efficiency filtering system also contributes to this.

In addition, Its suction power is far above any other alternative, effectively capturing dirt.

Moreover, Their brushes also provide a plus compared to other alternatives, since it has:

Un multifunction brush, made of bristles and silicone, suitable for all types of surfaces, and that does an excellent job on carpets.

The BestFriend Care rubber brush, which Effectively captures hairs and prevents tangles.

The Jalisco brush, which Reaches up to three times greater efficiency in cleaning hard floors, thanks to its ten million microfibers.

Includes the innovative Jalisco brush

Does it automatically detect dirt?

No, the Conga 5090 does not have a dirt detection system. In any case, thanks to its advanced navigation system, which combines a laser sensor and an optical sensor, it will cover 100% of the surface of the house, with great efficiency, and without leaving any corner uncleaned.

MAPPING

Do you save the map or recreate it every time you clean?

Some robots generate a map every time they start cleaning. However, the most advanced, like this Conga 5090, save the map and allow you to interact with it, allowing access to more advanced functions, such as zone cleaning or restricted areas, among others.

How many maps can the Conga 5090?

La Conga 5090 can save up to 5 maps. Thus, even if your house has several floors, you can configure cleaning on each of them independently, and configure cleaning plans on each map (you can create 10 different plans on each floor, 50 in total).

Save up to 5 maps

How should the mapping be carried out? Do I have to do anything special to create the different maps?

In order to access some advanced functions, you must create the home map. To do this, you simply have to put the robot in automatic mode and leave the rooms open.

The robot will go around the entire house, and when it finishes, it will tell us that it has created a map and allow us to save it, assigning it a name, allowing us to edit the rooms.

To create new maps, you don't have to activate anything. The robot will detect if the floor plan of the house it is visiting is one that it already has or is different. If it is different, at the end it will ask if you want to save this new map.

La Conga 5090 is capable of saving up to 5 maps. When you already have more than one map, you will be able to know which one it is on (in order not to complicate identification for the robot, the charging base must be in the same place, and the cleaning will begin from there).

Up to 5 different maps

How do you edit the map? Can it be modified later?

When the map is created, the app will define the rooms in the home. Next, we can edit this distribution, merging or dividing the rooms, and assigning them a name to identify them (There are several predefined denominations, and you can also create the ones you want, by clicking on "customize").

To merge, mark the rooms you want to join, and apply the change.. The rooms must be together (if they are not adjacent, the app will indicate with a message that they cannot be combined).

To divide, select the room you want to divide, and make a line, drawing it directly with your finger on the map that appears on the screen.. To do it more easily, we can previously enlarge the map.

When we already have the map saved, we can also modify it. To do so, select the map we want to modify and drag it to the left; A window will appear that will allow us to make changes or delete the map.

I do not have WIFI. Can you work without it?

Yes, you can operate the robot through the remote control, which allows you to operate some basic functions and program the robot.

You can also start it, pause it or send it to the charging base using the buttons on its top.

In any case, you will enjoy the high power of this robot, the efficiency of its brushes and its intelligent navigation system., but you will not be able to access the advanced functions that the application provides you.

Another possibility to get by (for example, in second homes) is to configure a Wi-Fi network on a mobile phone, and control the robot from another mobile phone.

Can I establish cleaning zones and restricted areas, which the robot will not access?

Yes, in addition to the rooms, you can define specific cleaning zones by drawing a box on the map. This is very useful if we want to clean a specific small area (for example, under a table).

Similarly, It is also possible to create restricted areas, which you do not want the robot to access. It is a very interesting option to limit your access to the room where someone sleeps, to the children's play area, to the pet feeder or, for example, If the robot is going to mop, so that it does not climb on a carpet.

Do you clean rooms?

Yes, la Conga 5090 incorporates intelligent cleaning. The robot has the most advanced navigation system - based on a laser sensor and an optical sensor - and powerful software that allows it to better interpret the home map.

Detail of the optical sensor of the Conga 5090

Detail of the optical sensor of the Conga 5090

Thus, When creating the map, the robot will recognize the rooms that make it up and assign them a different color (However, as we indicated previously, it is possible to modify this distribution if we do not agree with it).

When creating cleaning plans, we can define which room or rooms we want to clean, as well as the cleaning parameters (cleaning frequency, mode, power, etc.).

So we can have predefined, in a simple way, what we want to clean and how.

Is it necessary to have a saved map to access some features?

Yes, There are some functions that require a saved map, so that the robot knows how to interpret what we are sending it; for example, cleaning areas or establishing restricted zones.

I live in a duplex. What should I consider?

If there are stairs in your home, there is no problem since, like the vast majority of robot vacuum cleaners, la Conga 5090 has anti-fall sensors, so it will get close to the edge, but without falling (all you have to do is take care of keeping them clean from time to time).

In addition, la Conga 5090 is especially useful in multi-story homes, as it can save up to 5 maps. In this way, you will be able to save the map of each of the floors, and configure the various options or cleaning plans for each of them (up to 10 plans for each map) independently.

Is there any element that could affect the navigation of the Conga 5090?

La Conga 5090 has the most advanced navigation system on the market, so it navigates with great precision, avoiding obstacles that may be found and sneaking into places where it barely fits.. It also does not need much space around the charging base, unlike other models.

In any case, it doesn't hurt to make the cleaning task easier for you, clearing the area to be cleaned as much as possible, to achieve the greatest cleaning efficiency.

In the case of curtains, it is possible that it detects them in some cases as a solid obstacle and does not pass under them, so it is recommended to move them away when the robot is working.

Black carpets also do not seem to be a problem for this robot (as happens to some models from other brands).

Yes, it may have some specific problems (as also happens with other robots with laser technology) in certain circumstances, such as rooms where it receives full, direct sunlight, or in some cases, when there are more or less mirrors. less bass, which can be interpreted as the room lengthening.

MOP AND SCRUB

Can the mop be used dry?

Yes, the mop can be used wet, to mop, or dry, so it will help capture dust and polish the floor.. It can be lightly moistened with a specific product for mops, to get a shinier floor.

Logically, it doesn't make much sense in carpet cleaning.

Detail of the microfiber mop

Detail of the microfiber mop

I'm going to scrub. Can I prevent the robot from getting the carpet wet?

Yes, once the map is saved, you can establish restricted areas in the app, preventing the robot from going to the area you define.

Can it be programmed to scrub?

Yes, can be left programmed to scrub. The robot has electronic water dosing, so it will only release water while it is scrubbing. When creating the schedule, you can define the desired water flow (low-medium-high). The Conga 5090 detects if the mixed tank is on, if it is not, it will appear as "disabled".

IDEA: If you prefer to vacuum and then scrub, you can consecutively program a cleaning plan that vacuums and then another that scrubs.. In mopping mode, if you wish, you can not vacuum, selecting the "Off" power level.

Can the robot be charged with the water tank on?

It is possible, since it has electronic water dosing, so you can leave it programmed to scrub. However, as far as possible, we recommend against doing so.

Can the water tank be refilled when it is placed on the robot?

No, it is best to fill the tank separately and then fit it into the robot, otherwise we could accidentally get it wet and cause a problem.

Does the tank have to be emptied when you have finished scrubbing?

Yes, it is advisable to do so.

Can scrubbing be combined with any other function?

Yes, the robot can sweep, vacuum, mop and scrub simultaneously.

In addition, when scrubbing you can indicate the area you want to scrub or establish restricted areas. It is also compatible with cleaning by room. In addition, you can configure aspects such as the vacuum power level and the water flow rate you want to use (high, medium or low).

Conga 5090 cleaning

Can any cleaning product be used mixed with water to scrub?

Yes, You can use a non-corrosive, non-foam floor cleaner., in an approximate proportion of one part for every 10 of water.

How many square meters does it scrub? What happens when you run out of water?

The water tank of the Conga 5090 is quite spacious, and its electronic dosing is very precise, so it can clean large surfaces with one tank.

Logically The surface that can be cleaned depends on the selected water flow rate, since at the lowest level, it will barely wet the soil, while at higher levels, the humidity is visibly noticeable. In any case, as an approximation, it may be enough to scrub 40-50 square meters without problems.

When the water runs out, it would continue mopping. If it has not finished scrubbing, we can pause the robot, take out the tank and fill it, and put it back in.

Can you scrub puddles or accumulated water?

No, the robot is not a substitute for a mop in this case.. The Conga It uses the water in its tank to scrub, but it should not be used to collect spilled water.

Can you overcome obstacles with the scrubbing tank? What about carpets?

With the solids deposit, the Conga 5090 is capable of overcoming obstacles of up to 2 centimeters. With water, up to 1 centimeter. When scrubbing, it would be advisable to set the rugs as restricted areas, so that people do not climb on them, or simply remove them.

Can you mop wooden floors?

As a general rule, there is no problem on varnished wooden floors or synthetic flooring., which usually have some resistance to humidity, and can even be water-repellent (this can be verified in the manufacturer's or distributor's specifications). If the wood is not varnished, it is not advisable.

scrubbing a wooden floor

In the case of wooden floors, even if they are varnished, it is not advisable to moisten them excessively, so it is advisable to set the water flow to a low level, or at most to the medium level.

In any case, These are general guidelines, it depends on the porosity of the soil, whether it is well sealed or not..

How about scrubbing? Is it capable of cleaning stains on the floor?

La Conga 5090 is a multifunction robot, capable of vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing. But not only that, but Its scrubbing system is one of the most effective on the market:

Scrubbing scrubbing technology
  • The 5090 includes Scrubbing technology. The robot makes a back-and-forth movement back and forth, similar to what people do when scrubbing.
  • For its part, the dual-material microfiber mop It helps trap and loosen dirt.
  • In addition, iWater technology controls the water flow and doses it electronically, keeping the mop wet with a high degree of precision, being able to choose three levels of water flow: low, for light scrubbing; medium, for day to day; and high, when cleaning needs are greater.
IWater technology

Electronic dosing

As a result, the ability to clean Conga 5090 is superior to other robots on the market (many of them just wipe with a damp mop as they go). Nevertheless, If the stain is very attached, you may not get it.

Can the mop be washed in the washing machine?

Yes, you can wash the mop in the washing machine, at a maximum temperature of 30º.

What type of water should be used for scrubbing?

Normally, tap water will be used, at room temperature.. If the water in your house has lime, it is advisable to filter it beforehand to avoid accumulations.

A small amount of non-corrosive floor cleaner can be added to the water, in a proportion of 10 milliliters per 100 of water.

MANAGEMENT OF THE ROBOT, APP AND WIFI CONNECTION

How do you connect the robot to Wifi. Can it be managed from anywhere?

La app Conga 5090 It is available for iOS and Android. Once downloaded, the app itself will guide us step by step through the installation.

If you do not have an account, you must create one. La Conga 5090 is compatible with 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz networks for greater connectivity (most robots only support 2,4 GHz networks).

Once you have configured the robot's connection to Wi-Fi, you can manage it at any time and from anywhere, you have a Wi-Fi or data connection: from your work, a cafe, from the street...

App Conga 5090
Cleaning modes in the app
Application settings

If I turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on, do I have to configure the robot connection again?

No, when the router restarts, the robot will connect to it again.

Is Wifi essential to operate the robot? Can I control the robot in another way?

In addition to the buttons on the top of the robot, you can handle the Conga 5090 via remote control. This will give you access to basic functions and programming the robot.

Thus, You will enjoy all the power and efficiency of the 5090 when cleaning your home, thanks to its intelligent navigation. But yes, you will not be able to access some advanced functions, such as restricted areas, creating cleaning plans or cleaning by room, for example.

I am not able to connect the app with the robot.

Most robots on the market are only compatible with 2,4 GHz networks, which causes connectivity problems or difficulties in setting up the connection.

La Conga 5090 is not only compatible with 2,4 GHz networks, it is also compatible with 5 GHz networks. In this way, the problems caused by dual routers are reduced.

In any case, it is possible that in some cases it will not be possible to connect it automatically; In that case, you must use the manual option, and choose the Wifi network (Conga_Laser_XXX or similar), and then choose the normal Wi-Fi network again, 2,4 GHz or 5 GHz.

La Conga 5090 is compatible with 5 GHz networks

Is the app updateable?

Yes, periodically the robot receives firmware updates, which will install automatically.

What are app updates for? Is it always necessary to update?

Modern high-end robots are usually updateable through the app, as is the case with this one Conga 5090.

The updates serve to incorporate corrections and/or improvements in some aspects, as well as new functionalities, depending on the information received from users and the developments that the company itself is making.

The improvements can cover various aspects, both in the navigation system, connectivity, battery management, and other functionalities. that can be added; Therefore, it is best to always have the robot updated.

(Normally, updates will be automatic, and will not require any action on the part of the user. apart from having the robot with enough charge and leaving it "quiet" while it updates).

Can it be controlled by voice commands?

Yes, la Conga 5090 is manageable through voice commands, being compatible with Alexa and Google Home.

It doesn't appear on Google Home. How can I find it?

Open the Google Assistant (by pressing the central button on your mobile for a few seconds, or directly from the corresponding application).

Once there, click on the compass (bottom right) and look for Conga.

Click on «Robot Conga», click on «link», and enter your Cecotec account. It will be linked there.

Once linked, you have to synchronize everything in Google (or wait a while for it to do it itself). The best thing is to tell Google “synchronize everything”, so that it is done now.

Once synchronized, with the command “contact robot Conga”, we contact the robot, and different commands can be used, such as “start cleaning”, “stop cleaning” or “go to charge” (you must first contact the first command, and then give it the corresponding order).

La Conga 5090 is manageable by voice commands

I can't set it up on Alexa. What I can do?

Below, we detail a series of steps to follow:

(1). Download the app from Google Play or the iOS App Store.

(2). Open the application and register with a new account (or log in if you already have a registered account).

(3). Turn on the robot and connect it with the app.

(4). Download the Amazon “Alexa” app from Amazon Market, Google Play, or the iOS App Store and connect Echo to Alexa.

(5). Check the Skills of Conga.

(6). Click to activate Skills Conga, enter your email, password and nationality.

(7). Device configuration is now complete. Now, start controlling your robot with your voice through Alexa.

How do you program the Conga 5090?

You can program the robot through the remote control or using the app.

With the remote you cannot configure cleaning options, as you can do in the app, but you can tell it what time and what days you want it to clean. The first thing is to establish the current time, and from there, set the schedule.

The application allows you to program the robot easily and simply, similar to setting an alarm on your mobile.

You can create various schedules, as long as they do not overlap, in which you can customize the cleaning as you wish: power level, water flow, cleaning mode, cleaning plan you want to use, etc.

The cleaning plan that you use in the programming allows you to choose in a comfortable and simple way between those plans that you have predefined, in which you establish which room or rooms you want to clean, with the restricted areas that you have determined for that plan.

This is very useful when scheduling a mopping task, since we may have a cleaning plan that includes a carpet as a restricted area, which we do not want the robot to climb with the wet mop.

When programming, can I choose modes or other options?

Yes, if it is done through the app, the Conga 5090 allows you to configure modes and other options when programming.

What can I do using the remote control?

Through the remote control you can operate the Conga 5090, performing some functions, but with many more limitations than if we do it through the application.

With the remote control, we can:

  • Clean the entire house in automatic mode, by pressing the central button.
  • Control the robot manually, with the direction arrows, as if it were a remote-controlled car.
  • Set the time, with the upper right button (it will be necessary to program it).
  • Program it, with the upper left button.
  • Choose the power level, with the lower left button.
  • Set the edge cleaning mode, with the lower right button.
  • Send the robot home, with the lower center button.
Conga 5090 remote control

Therefore, The remote allows you to perform various basic functions, but it will be through the app that we can take full advantage of the advanced functions of this high-end robot.

What are cleaning plans? How are they used?

Cecotec's new line of high-end robots, presented in 2019, includes RoomPlan technology from the series 3000, (and of course, also in the 4000 Series and the 5000 Series, to which the protagonist of this article belongs).

RoomPlan Technology

Thus, la Conga 5090 allows you to create up to 50 different cleaning plans (10 for each of your five maps).

Cleaning plans are predefined plans, in which We establish which room or rooms we want to clean, and, if applicable, what restricted areas we want to set.

Cleanup plans can be used in two ways:

  • A, When cleaning, you can tell the robot to clean the entire house (it would be the Complete Cleaning Plan, which is created by default), or clean the room or rooms that our plan indicates (for example, bedrooms only; kitchen and bathrooms; living room and hallway; kitchen, living room and hallway).
  • When scheduling, we can also choose the cleaning plan we want.

Furthermore, whether we clean directly or program, we can define the different cleaning options, to personalize it with the level of detail we want.

In this way, we can define the power with which we want to clean, the water flow in the case of scrubbing, the cleaning mode, etc., being able to make a wide variety of combinations.

Cleaning plan example

For example, we can tell it to clean the living room and hallway, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at 10:00, in automatic mode and medium power; the rooms, on Mondays and Fridays at 16:00 p.m., in automatic mode and Turbo power; and on Fridays and Sundays, scrub the kitchen and bathrooms, at 20:00 p.m., with a high flow of water.

It won't let me activate Deep Cleaning mode

The deep cleaning mode is used when we want to thoroughly clean a specific area, because it is a place where more dirt accumulates.

Therefore, it cannot be activated together with the automatic mode, because it is not to clean the entire house, but rather a specific area (if Deep Cleaning is chosen with the automatic mode, the message "The selected modes are incompatible" will appear).

If we want to thoroughly clean the entire house, we can combine the automatic mode with a higher power level (In any case, we must remember that in the case of this robot, from the minimum level, the ECO, it has a very high suction power, 1.500 Pascals).

CHARGING, AUTONOMY AND MAINTENANCE

How much space do I have to leave for the charging base?

Approximately one meter to the sides and forward is usually recommended, but la Conga 5090 has a very advanced navigation system, so that it is capable of moving in spaces in which it barely fits., so it is not essential to leave much space for it.

Where should the charging base be located?

It is best that it be located in a central place in the house, so that it can be better detected from anywhere, and in a clear place. Nevertheless, Once the robot has mapped the house, it has the charging base located, so you have no problem locating it.

Does it always return to base? If it doesn't, what could be the reason?

If the robot does not return to base, there may be several reasons.

It is possible that an error has occurred in one of its sensors, or it has gotten stuck with something. If we see it stopped and flashing red, it is advisable to check the brushes and the tank to see if there is anything stuck inside, and clean the sensors.

It could also be that you have become disoriented as to where the charging base is located.. This can happen for two reasons: that we have moved the robot "by hand" (it is best to do so by giving cleaning orders from the app, or by guiding it through manual mode); or we have changed the site loading base (in this case, we may have to create the map again).

How do I restore the robot to factory settings?

If you want to restore the robot to factory settings, you can go to the robot settings, where you have the option to reset the robot.

What does night mode mean? What is it for?

Night mode is another option in the robot's settings, and it prevents it from working between 22:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Can the robot be turned off? Do you have a switch?

Like other models in the range Conga, the 5090 does not have a switch to turn it off completely, although you can put it into stand-by by holding down the ON/OFF button on the top for a few seconds.

How long does it take to charge? How do I know it is charging?

The robot comes partially charged, but It is advisable to fully charge it before putting it to work for the first time.. It is recommended that the first charge be long-lasting (for example, leave it charging all night), and then it will take about 3-4 hours to fully charge it.

While charging, the robot's light flashes yellow-orange, while when it is already charged, it remains solid blue. You can also see if it is charging or if the battery is full through the app. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the Conga 5090 will go into suspension.

Conga 5090 in its charging base

Does it always have to be on the charging base when not cleaning? Can't it break down or consume a lot of electricity?

It is usually recommended that the robot be on its charging base when it is not working. This way, we will always have it ready to work. The only exception would be if it is not going to be used for a long period of time (for example, a month).

Regarding electricity consumption, both this and other robot vacuum cleaners have very low consumption., so the cost is just a few cents a day.

What is the autonomy of the robot?

The estimated autonomy reaches 240 minutes. Esto It depends on the power used, the carpets you have (since it will activate the turbo in them) and the obstacles that may exist (Each turn the robot makes, it consumes a little more battery).

In any case, the Conga 5090 includes Total Surface 2.0 technology. If it hasn't finished cleaning the entire house, it will return to the charging base via the fastest route and, once charged, resume cleaning where it left off.

Loading and continuing

What maintenance needs to be done on the robot?

The dirt tank is quite large, so it is enough for several cleaning cycles. It is advisable, every time the tank is emptied, to check the condition of the central brush and the side brush, to free it from hair or any other element that could clog them (for this, the self-cleaning brush that is included with the robot is very useful).

It is also advisable to check and clean the high efficiency filter, for which you can also use the cleaning tool.

The brushes can (and should) be removed from the robot, to clean them more easily and completely.

As well It is necessary to periodically check that the sensors are clean, especially the fall sensors if there are stairs or holes in our home through which the robot can fall.

Also, also wheels should be cleaned of possible dirt that may remain adhered.

How are they similar and how are they different? Conga 5090 and the Conga 4090?

These two robots are currently the most advanced of the brand, and share many characteristics, although the 5090 is superior in some sections, in line with its numbering.

The main difference between both robots is power. Both robots are the most powerful on the market, but with a large difference in favor of the Conga 5090, which reaches 8.000 Pascals, compared to "only" 2.700 for the 4090. This is thanks to the Cy-Clean cyclonic technology that the 5090 includes.

Cy-Clean Technology

Both the 5090 and 4090 have the most advanced navigation system, based on the combination of laser and optical sensor.

As well Both have the three brushes, the multifunction one, the BestFriend Care rubber brush and the Jalisco microfiber brush.

In addition, autonomy is similar, since they reach 4 hours (although the 5090 battery is larger, since it also has more power).

Regarding connectivity, In both cases they are compatible with 2,4 and 5 GHz networks.

  1. Good Morning.
My device does not detect the water tank. When I program it, the message is to install the tank and mop first, when it is already installed.

  2. I have one conga5490. So far it has worked well but for some time now after a thorough cleaning with damp cloths and water the noise and aspiration have decreased. The tour of the house does it well. My doubts are whether the battery has been damaged because it has lost energy. Greetings

  3. Good afternoon, I have one conga 5090 for 12 months, at first the machine responded well with the app I had installed, but about 2 months ago, it continually told me it was offline, until for some reason it connected and I could use the machine with the room records , both in cleaning and with Mop. Now I can't even get it to work because it continually says Offline, I uninstalled the app, and reinstalled it, but now it tells me that I lost the maps and I should do it again, but as it is still Offline the button is not activated.
I have tried to use the remote control (after uninstalling the app) and it only runs around the edges, but it does not clean automatically, and I cannot use it to scrub either.
Please, I ask for your help, since I bought this machine because I have a disability, to make it work again. I was in an ecocogen room but they told me to send an email, they did not answer me. Thank you very much for your attention.

All this is very good / but the only thing left is for the application to work once and for all, it is a shame that they have abandoned it with the number of errors it has, now it tells me that the session has expired again and again (and not Tell me to uninstall, delete app data or anything like that, I've already done all that and more). I have one conga 5490 for which I use the app conga 5000. For some time now, the app has been giving me problems when logging in. I log in and it instantly kicks me out saying it has expired and I can't log in. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, restarting the phone, restarting the router... and nothing works.

When pairing, place both the mobile phone and the robot near the router to facilitate connectivity. First connect your mobile phone to the Wi-Fi network that you are going to use to connect the robot, and then follow the steps indicated by the app.

I just bought a Conga 5490 and I have two questions: the first has happened to me several times that while it is doing a complete cleaning of my apartment it stops with the LEDs on blue and for it to continue I have to press the start button. And the second is that on several occasions I have received a "repeat cleaning" message in the mvl, what is this due to? Thank you very much for your attention

    • Hello, Silvia, thank you for coming to our website.

In the first case, it is possible that the robot stops because there is some element that has interrupted it, without causing a complete obstruction; Check the tank, the wheels or the collector where the dust enters (take out the central brush and look at the hole where the dirt enters), perhaps in one of those places there is something that is causing some type of blockage. As for the second, the closest thing we can think of is that in the cleaning configuration, if you select the Twice mode, it repeats the selected cleaning mode twice (in case you want an even more in-depth cleaning).

  11. Hi, I have one conga 5090, when the robot cleans with the mop, I use the mopping mode, the movements are correct and it wets the floor well, it turns out that I have observed that when it reaches the edge of the wall and turns around, when it returns there are places that it does not wet ( between the previous scrubbing and the current one) and therefore it does not clean small areas, this happens because the distance between the previous scrubbing and the current one there is a distance in which it does not clean, I suppose this is correct or is typical of the cleaning mode
What other way can I put it to clean with the mop? and there are no spaces left unwetted (cleaned), since I chose the circular mode but it rotates from one place, I have a rectangular living room, I will appreciate his advice.

You can set it to scrub in automatic mode, so the robot will move in straight lines, it will not make the back and forth movement, but it will possibly solve the question you are asking us.

Check if the tank is correctly installed, you can also try with the solids only one, instead of the mixed one. Also check that the filter is properly placed in the tank you put in, if not, it may be detecting it as an error.

    • Hello, Paqui, thank you for coming to our website.

It's strange, if you look at the system it uses to moisten the brush when connecting the mop, in principle that shouldn't happen. Try removing the mop and putting it back in, you can also wash it or try the spare one, see what it does. It is also advisable to lightly moisten the mop by hand before starting to mop.

  14. Hello, my robot is 5490, but I understand that it doesn't matter what I'm going to ask, maybe it's stupid but I can't stop thinking about it.

I have read on several sites that the first charge has to be 12 hours (all night). However, I put it on charge and when the pilot light turned blue (after 3 or 4 hours) I used it.

Could this be a problem? Has it affected the performance of the battery?

    Many Thanks

    • Hello, Óscar, thank you for coming to our website.

It is true that it is a general recommendation, perhaps because it ensures that the charge is complete. In any case, charging the robot takes those 3-4 hours, so if you have had it until the end, there should be no problem :-).

Yes, that happens to many people... The ideal is that when it comes time to scrub it, it is when you are at home and that way you can take it off; You can also schedule it or start it through the app so that it ends more or less when you are going to get home, so you can do it soon.

Check both the tank and the nozzle through which it absorbs (dismantle the central brush for this), as well as the wheels or the side brush, in many cases this can happen when something gets tangled or stuck in the robot (a thread, a clip , a hairpin...).

  18. Hello,
A few days ago I bought the conga 5490.
The first time I used it (yesterday) it mapped the floor, vacuumed it and returned to its charging base, I was happy.
Today, which is the second day I've used it, it vacuumed the entire floor but, when it was finished, instead of returning to its charging base, it got stuck against a wall.
This afternoon, I moved the charging base, in case that was the problem, and I sent it to vacuum the kitchen, which it did correctly, but then it did not return to its charging base, getting stuck against it again. the kitchen wall.
By the way, before trying it this afternoon, I removed the robot from the app and added it again.
What can happen to the robot?

Well, we couldn't say what happened the first time to not find the base; It is best that you reset it to factory settings (going to profile-blue settings wheel, and pressing the blue circle at the top right). Once that is done, starting from the base (it is advisable to always start the cleaning from there), you put it to do a complete cleaning so that it maps again.

  20. Hello, good afternoon. I have recently bought one Conga 5090. The problem I have is that after doing a complete cleaning in automatic mode and Eco power I get the map. I can name it. When I tell him I need to edit it to change the rooms, I can do it with two or three.
However, when trying to join or separate two rooms, it no longer performs the action and does not respond. If I go out and select the map, it does not have the name recorded. If I try to edit it (by swiping left and selecting the pencil drawing) it stays without showing any image and without responding to anything (I can't go back). I restart the App, in Settings when I enter Map and try to select it (double click), a message "Missing connecting to the network..." appears. I can't, after multiple attempts... I need help.

    Thank you!

    • Hello, Gabriel, thank you for coming to our website.

You don't have to do anything special, when you take it to the other floor, the robot should detect that the floor plan is different from the one it already had, and start creating a new map. If you have not saved this new map and you still have the first one, try doing it again on the second floor, starting the cleaning from the base. If the map has been damaged, you would have to delete it, going to maps and sliding it to the left so that the corresponding option appears, and map again.

  23. Hello, good morning, I have a conga 5090 with which I am reasonably satisfied, however today I had a problem deleting the maps, I think it is because I changed the normal tank for the mixed one while it was in the charging base, which causes the flashing red of the two indicators. I have come to this conclusion because at first I used to clean the normal tank by removing it from the robot when it was charging and later I observed that the maps were erased. It did not occur to me to relate it to this procedure but later I removed the robot from its base and proceeded to clean it. Placing it on a table, during all that time no map was erased and the robot's movement was increasingly more precise.
So I think that a kind of reset occurs when the indicators turn red. All this in case it is useful to you. Kind regards.

To select scrubbing mode, you have to do it from the app. You can also put the tank with water and set it to clean automatically with the remote control, but what it will not do is the back-and-forth movement.

The problem is when you go to another house without Wi-Fi, I don't know if you could connect with a shared Wi-Fi network that you activate on your mobile, and if in this case you can, you would have to delete the data from the other house with Wi-Fi, or you could have both options at the same time?
I don't know if I could add the same thing again. conga like a different robot and different connection.? How could I do it?

    Reply
    • Hello, Antonio José, thank you for visiting us.

There is no problem in configuring the connection of the robot to two different Wi-Fi networks, it is common when it is used in different houses, and you could have the same robot, with its corresponding maps, plans, etc. without problem. To do this, in the second house you start the robot connection configuration as you did with the first, clicking add robot, pressing the buttons, etc., according to the instructions, and you give it the same name.

Another issue is the connection through the mobile phone, which in principle should be another one than the one you use to manage it with the app, not the same one.

No, that shouldn't be the problem, we had it disconnected for days, and it didn't lose any maps :-). Cecotec, like other manufacturers, do recommend having the robot always on the base when it is plugged in, but not for that reason (in fact, it is a general recommendation, also for other models without mapping). You can try restarting the robot to factory settings by going to profile-settings (the little blue wheel) and pressing the circle arrow at the top right, and then map again.

Could it have been lost? If you disconnect from the electric light you lose the maps and have to record them again???

Upon reaching a certain room, my conga goes into error, what could be the problem? He doesn't even make it back to base and the map he generates of the room is incorrect. Could this be because I had to move the base around?

    • Hello, María Alejandra, thank you for coming to our website and for your words.

Yes, it could be, if you have moved the base site; It is best that you delete the current map and create a new one, starting to clean from the base already located in the new location. To delete it, go to maps and drag it to the left, so that a menu appears.

  32. Hello, Juan, thank you for visiting our website.

The best thing to avoid problems is to start cleaning from the base. That is, the process would be: locate the base in the place where it will be; then map (the base will appear marked on the map), leaving open all the rooms in which the robot is going to clean; and once mapped, always start cleaning from the base. We don't know if this is your case.

Ultra power is activated in some modes, such as spiral mode and one-point cleaning. Since there is so much suction, it has a consumption that makes scheduled cleaning with that power unsustainable, hence it cannot be selected for a large cleaning.

I have one conga 5090. I am very happy with the cleanliness and navigation while cleaning. But when you have to return to base it is a nightmare. It does not sail but tries to go straight towards the base. If the house did not have walls between the rooms that would be the shortest path. But since there are walls, she stays trapped in the rooms. Is it a general problem or is it my conga What has a defect? Or is it a mistake on my part? What can I do to find its base? (If I leave her cleaning only the living room (where the base is) and the hallway, there is no problem.
    Thanks and Regards

  44. Hello, Pilar María, thank you for coming to our website and for sharing your experience.

Yes, the procedure would be as you explain. You would have a base location on the first floor, from which you would start the cleanup on that map; and a location for the base on the second floor, to start it from there.

Moving the robot by hand refers more to within the plant itself; Logically, if you are going to take it to another floor (or another home), you have to move it. By placing the base on that second floor, as you explain, the robot will be able to return to it when finished.

  45. On Saturday, May 30, we bought the Conga 5090. Surprisingly, on Tuesday, June 2, he arrived home. We configured it without problem. It works wonderfully and we are delighted with both the vacuum and scrubbing modes; which x true we are using together and they work wonderfully. Scrubbing the mop is very easy and quick just by running it under the tap and adding a little neutral gel. Congratulations! The robot is amazing.???
The question is the following: Since we have a two-story house, we have uploaded the robot with the base. He has made his map of each floor and done it very well. After reading the comments on the page, it is not clear to me whether it is advisable to buy another base or not for the upper floor of the house (the plug at the top is not convenient to connect as it is located behind a piece of furniture, but it is the ideal place as the base is well located and out of the way). Thank you very much, doubly. All the best,
    Pilar María.

  46. Hello, Agustín, thank you for coming to our website.

Well, with the configuration you mention we would not be able to say, what it can do, for example, if it works for you, is work with different Wi-Fi networks; That is, we have tested it in different homes, with different Wi-Fi, and without problems.

He conga 5090 was configured in the living room on the first floor with its Wi-Fi address, but when I upload it to the bedrooms it does not map because it says it is offline, however, there is a Wi-Fi connection throughout the house because they are all linked to the Wi-Fi of the lounge. My question is, can more than one wifi be configured at the same time? conga 5090, to be able to map the three floors?

    • Anyway, let's see if I can help you.
When it puts me offline, I go to the APP, I create a new robot with a different name, by pressing the two buttons I configure the robot again, it is fast since it has Wi-Fi configured. .
The new robot maintains the maps that the previous one had.
It's a bummer I know, but until they update the APP, we have no choice.

Well, if it did before and now it doesn't, we wouldn't know how to say, perhaps its sensors detect something different. Try cleaning the vacuum cleaner with a soft cloth on the outside and, on the other hand, also try operating it in manual mode and having it go under the bed, to see what it does.

  50. Hello again, José Luis.

Yes, if he answers you it means he is linked, if not he would no longer pay attention to you. We were trying to see what could happen when it came to naming the rooms, we will tell you step by step in case it helps you.

As you already have the map created, to modify it (in this case, change the name of the rooms), you have to go to settings, click on Map, and move the map to the left, a window will appear that allows you to edit it (and delete it).

Click on the pencil to edit it, and it will ask you for the name of the map. You give him one or you leave him the one you already have, and you click on the next one, at the top right.

Next, it will ask you if these are the rooms in the house, and it will show you the divisions with dashed blue lines. If the divisions are not right, you say No, you want to correct them. If the division is good, you say Yes, they are the rooms.

On the next screen, you name the rooms. You click on each one of them, and choose one of the predetermined names, or write one if you prefer. This may be the problem you are having. If you are writing custom names, when you add it to a room, do not click to finish, press the back button on your mobile phone, this way you will return to the rooms screen, and you can continue changing the names. When you finish changing all of them, then you click finish.

  51. Hello, I have managed to see the complete map and I have been able to divide the different spaces but when I want to give them names I can't find a way to name them all and every time I try I lose the ones that I have been able to name because it won't let me save the map otherwise I name all the spaces. Now I try again to name the map and it tells me that "failure to connect to the network" and I don't understand why if the app tells me that the loading is complete and if I tell it to start cleaning it does so and I understand that it means that it is connected to the network. Or not?. Thank you very much for your help.

  52. Good morning, I have recently purchased the conga 5090 and I must first say that I really like it. But I don't understand how it cleans my entire house but there comes a point where it doesn't complete the map and always leaves it incomplete. I consulted Cecotec and they told me that it was because the WiFi did not reach me in that space, I have tried it in different ways and I have even moved the router so the signal reaches a little stronger and further away but it still stops making the map at the same point. I have two Wi-Fi extenders installed but I think it does not recognize them as the Wi-Fi to which the device is linked. Can you help me, I really like the device and the options it has, but if I don't complete the map I won't be able to use them. Greetings and thank you very much.

Hello again, my name is José Luis and I would like you to inform me if it is normal for the CONGA 5090 if you do not have it constantly in its base the battery discharges, it has happened to me on two occasions I have stored it in a closet so as not to always have it in the way for a couple of days and when I have gone to pick it up again for use the battery runs out I had downloaded a lot

  54. Hello, José Luis, thank you for visiting our website, and for your feedback :-).

No problem, that is one of the advantages of a multi-map robot like this, you can clean different homes.

Also take the base for the other home, configure the connection as you did in the first one and start cleaning from the base. In a few seconds, the robot will realize that it is not on the map it already has configured and will start creating a new map. When you're done, you save it, configure the rooms, etc., and when you're done, you'll have two maps, on each of which you can make schedules, cleaning plans, etc. When cleaning, you can go to the settings and choose the corresponding map.

Comments have a moderation system, don't worry if you don't see it published :-).

Normally, to restore factory settings, you have to go to profile, click on the little blue wheel to enter settings, and at the top right, click on the blue circle with the arrow.

If you no longer have the robot linked, you will have to link it again, starting the process from the beginning (you can even uninstall the app first and reinstall it, to make the process "clean" from the beginning).

I insist on the topic because it interests me a lot.
Let's see, I bought the Conga 5090 and although it was difficult for me to connect it to Wi-Fi, I finally managed to do it. After 2 or 3 days of use and seeing that I couldn't modify the map or name the rooms, I decided to unlink the robot from the app and until now I haven't been able to link it again! And I would like to set factory defaults, but it doesn't say anything in the instructions. And since I don't have the robot linked in the app, I can't either.
Could you tell me what I can do?
    Thank you

    • Hello, Laura, thank you for coming to our website.

To configure a cleaning plan, go to plans and click the + in the upper right, and accept that you want to create it. Next, it will show you the plan with the rooms you have defined; You have to click on the one you want to choose, it will turn blue, and with a V for selected; then you click on the next one you want to select, etc.

When you have chosen all the ones you want to add, click Next in the upper right corner. He will ask you if you want to add restricted areas. You add them if you want, and click Next at the top right. Finally, you give the plan a name, and click save on the floppy disk at the top right.

  60. Hello, Amadeo, thank you for coming to our website.

When it finishes mapping, the robot asks you to name the map and the rooms. If you have already created the map, we will explain how to modify it.

Click on the three configuration lines, to the right of the main button that shows the app (where the cleaning starts).
Next, click on map, and the created map will appear. You drag it to the left, and click edit (the first icon, which looks like a pencil inside a piece of paper).

The first thing it asks you is the name of the map, you enter whatever you want, and click next, at the top right.

It then asks you if the divisions it created correspond to the rooms in your house. If not, you click "no, I want to correct them" below.

To change the divisions, you do this. If you want to delete one, click on the trash icon (top left, next to the +), and then click on the line to delete.

If you want to add divisions, click on the + at the top right, it will create a line. Click on it and drag it to the room you want to divide. If you want to put it vertically, you keep it pinned with one hand, and with the other you turn it. When you have it oriented, you place it in the place where you want to establish the division, it will turn blue on the map, and the rest of the line will turn white; If it is ready, click on the save icon, top right.

You add and remove rooms that way, until you have everything configured to your liking. When you finish, you tell him that those are the rooms in the house.

Next, you click on each room on the map, choose a name from the predetermined ones or write it, and click to finish, so that it saves them (after changing each name, you click to finish). When you finish all of them, click finish again, so that it saves all the changes.

To schedule different cleanings, it is best to create cleaning plans (with this you can, for example, clean the kitchen on Wednesdays and Fridays at 14:00 p.m., clean the living room on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 19:00 p.m., etc).

The cleaning plans will also be useful for programming them as well as for sending the robot to clean directly, according to that plan. If you notice, when you enter the configuration (the three lines), it tells you which map you are going to use and what cleaning plan you are going to use.

If you click on Plan there, you will enter the cleaning plans, which by default will have Complete Cleaning. If you click the + at the top right, you can create your own, customizing the room or rooms you want to clean (and if you want, put restricted areas to which the robot will not access).

  61. I have the CONGA 5090 and I would like to be able to ask some questions about the app I installed.
The robot works perfectly but no matter how hard I try, I can't manage the app as I understand it should be.
    Frequently asked
1-When the map has been made, even if you give it a name and save it, the name of the map is not recorded but the drawing is.
2-How can I erase any green lines from the divisions that the robot has made?
3-The names that I recorded in the different rooms that remain in the map drawing do not remain. Therefore, I cannot tell you to only clean that room that you wanted to rename.
4-When I want to make a schedule, it only leaves me with the automatic option and I cannot access the drawn area option.
5-When it says cleaning plan, only "Complete cleaning" appears. Are there other cleaning plans? As?.
    Thank you very much

  62. Hello, David, thank you for coming to our website.

The best thing is that you find a location for the base also on the other floor, and start the mapping (and the cleaning, later) from there. This way when you're done or if you run out of battery, you can return to it to charge.

    • Hello, Agustín, thank you for coming to our website.

Yes, probably if you start the process again, you will be able to connect it. But before that, try these tricks, which sometimes work:

On the one hand, go to profile, and click on the blue settings wheel, the robot will try to reconnect.

If that doesn't work for you, you can try going to profile, and signing out (above, below account) and then restarting it.

If neither of those two things work for you, going to profile-settings (the little blue wheel), at the top right there is a kind of circular arrow, with that, it is restored to factory settings.

    • Hello, Almu, thank you for coming to our website.

It is nothing that you are doing wrong, perhaps it is that in the place where the charging base is the coverage is not perfect, or some micro-cut occurs, and it disconnects. Sometimes, in a few seconds, it reconnects itself. Other tricks that sometimes work are: enter the profile and click the robot configuration wheel to search for it. Or go to profile-log out, and log in again.

If any of these options do not work for you, you can try placing the base in another location, in case it is a coverage problem (if you do, you will have to re-map, so that the robot can locate the base in its new location).

Well, it is strange... Check if you have the updated firmware in the robot's profile-settings and if not, update it (and check the automatic updates tip if you don't have it). If this doesn't solve it or that's not it, you can try restoring to the factory settings (then you will have to map again), also in the robot's profile-settings, by pressing the button at the top right, like an arrow to update, in round).

  69. Hello, Juan Ángel, thank you for visiting us.

When programming, what other parameters do you have? For example, if you are in auto mode, it would not let you activate Twice at the same time (it will tell you that they are incompatible). Every time you make a change to the programming, hit the diskette to save. You can try changing the settings you have by activating Twice mode and clicking on the diskette to save, and then deactivating it and clicking on the diskette again.

Turbo mode (activated) for when cleaning carpets with the Jalisco brush; It does NOT seem to work or at least it does NOT change the intensity of the noise and the truth is that later I have to use my Dyson vacuum cleaner to get the carpets in good condition.

    • Hello, Andrés Pedro, thank you for visiting our website.

In Turbo mode, you cannot activate automatic cleaning, it would not make much sense to clean the entire house like this (and autonomy would suffer greatly). Yes, you can put, for example, in zone mode, mark an area to clean and set the Turbo power level.

Likewise, if you choose Point mode or Spiral mode, the robot will activate maximum power.

On the other hand, regarding what you say about carpets, you probably don't have Turbo Mode activated on carpets. If you click on the robot's configuration (that kind of filter next to the main button on the app's control screen), below you will see a section that says Turbo on carpets, which you must activate.

Yes, the solution would be what you mentioned (in our case, we have tried it in different houses, but in this case, it is the same). That is, take the base to the other floor, and map that floor, starting the cleaning from the charging base. You will have two different maps, each with its location of the charging base, and at any time you can choose from the app which map you are on when cleaning.

  73. Good,
I have a question regarding the position of the charging base. I am in a two-story house and from what I have read it is advisable not to move the charging station and move the robot through the app and not manually. Since the house has two floors, how should I act? I can only move the robot manually from one floor to another, of course. When I move the robot to the other floor, can I also move the charging base? because otherwise I wouldn't be able to return to base...
Therefore my question is: when mapping the second floor, can I move the charging station to that floor so that I save the second map with that position? And in that way I can change the position of the charging base according to the floor I have to clean?
If it is not possible, how to act?
    Thank you
