The Deebot N79S has achieved a rating of 88 points out of 100. It is a basic range robot, with a striking metallic bronze color, which includes various cleaning modes and It is manageable through a mobile app and through voice commands.

It has several cleaning modes, although it will usually work automatically.. In this model, the Ecovacs robot will go around the entire house with random navigation, making decisions in real time as it encounters obstacles.
It is not the most efficient system in the world, because there will be places where it passes more than once, and there may be some areas where it does not pass, but you cannot ask for much more from a robot in this price range (if you want something a little more sophisticated and not too expensive, you can opt for robots with gyroscopic navigation).
For the same reason, does not have charge and continuation, so if the robot does not finish cleaning, it will go to its base to charge, but it will not resume cleaning where it left off. If you want functionality of this type, you would have to go for a mid-range or high-end robot.
Its lithium battery provides you with maximum autonomy of about 100 minutes, which is enough to clean a small or medium-sized floor.

The Ecovacs app
The app to control this model is called Ecovacs (there is another application called Ecovacs Home, which works for other devices from the brand), and it is available for iOS and Android.
When installing it, It will guide us step by step to connect the robot. The first thing will be to add a robot and choose the corresponding model.
The Wifi for the connection must be 2,4 GHz, so if your router is dual, you should pay attention and choose this one, and not the 5 GHz one (which will say 5G or similar).
Subsequently, it will ask us to press the network configuration button on the remote control for 3 seconds. The WiFi LED on the top of the robot will begin to flash, indicating that pairing is beginning. Once the process is finished, an image of the robot will appear in the app, and we can start using it.
In the application we can see some useful information, such as the available battery, and configure various parameters (going to the 3 configuration points), such as power (standard or Max), task scheduling or the status of the different accessories.
