Conga 4690 Ultra vs Conga 4490

La Conga 4690 shares several features with the 4490; among them, being the robot with the greatest autonomy on the market, laser navigation, suction power or the three brushes to better clean any type of surface and in any circumstance.

The fundamental difference between both robots is in software, which in the 4690 allows you to further customize cleaning, selecting the cleaning mode for each of the rooms and the order in which they are cleaned.

In this way, at 4690 we can, for example, tell you to leave the bathroom for last, or to use higher power in the living room and bedrooms, and less in the hallway.

It also incorporates a new feature, Final Cleaning, a movement that allows the robot to reach the charging base cleaner.

La Conga 4490 is, on the other hand, more affordable, so it will depend on each user to see if the price difference is worth purchasing this new model.

Conga 4490

Start up

As usual, The robot comes partially charged, although it is advisable to fully charge it before putting it to work the first time., with a long-term charge (for example, overnight). Subsequently, it will only take 3-4 hours to fully charge the battery.

The charging base will preferably be located in a central location in the house, and should be on hard ground and firmly supported (usually on the wall). It is recommended that there be enough space to the sides and forward for the robot to maneuver, although Given the high precision of the device, it is not strictly necessary.

To start the robot you can use the button on the top, the remote control or control it using voice commands and through the app, although It is advisable to use the application, if you want to get the most out of it.

Therefore, before starting to work it is recommended install the app, available for iOS and Android, and create an account, if you don't have one. The app itself will guide us through the installation process, which is very simple. When carrying out the configuration process, it is recommended to have both the mobile phone and the robot close to the router, to facilitate the connection.

Operation of the Conga 4690 Ultra

La Conga 4690 Ultra is a robot that performs well in all aspects. It is a robust and well-built device, without weak points and with features on par with the best or above the competition.

Navigation

This robot incorporates the iTech Laser 360 intelligent navigation technology, based on laser plus optical sensor. The laser sensor provides maximum precision, as well as predictive navigation, thanks to its range of several meters.

The robot quickly maps the home and moves fluidly, without colliding with obstacles. Once it has mapped the entire home, the robot saves the map (it can save up to five different ones), allowing it to plan the cleaning in an orderly and intelligent way, working even faster.

The optical sensor allows you to perform even more orderly and precise navigation, achieving orderly and systematic linear movements; In addition, thanks to the sensor, the robot improves its location and returns more quickly to the charging base.

Conga 4690 Ultra laser mapping

Thanks to its navigation technology, the Conga 4690 Ultra achieves great effectiveness and efficiency in cleaning, traveling throughout the home and doing it in less time than other robots.

  • El new Final Cleaning movement that the 4690 incorporates (also present in the 6090) serves to prevent traces of powder from reaching the base on the brush. The robot acts as if it were shaking before placing itself on the base, to get rid of the dust.

Power

The Absolute Implode system with a powerful turbine provides you with great suction capacity, 2.700 Pascals, a figure higher than the best competing robots, which usually move between 2.000 and 2.500 Pa.

In this way, the 4690 Ultra achieves a great effectiveness on all types of surfaces, both hard floors and carpets. In addition, it activates the Turbo automatically when it detects that it is on a carpet, to achieve a deeper cleaning.

Conga 4690 Ultra cleaning a carpet

As usual in the brand's robots, It is capable of overcoming obstacles up to 2 centimeters high, so it has no problem with carpets of a certain thickness.

This model also has 3 power levels, so you can adjust them according to needs, achieving the perfect balance between cleaning efficiency and noise level.

In any case, thanks to its advanced engine and a good job of acoustic insulation, la Conga 4690 is not a noisy model, with its sound level below 64 decibels.

Brushes

Like other high-end robots from the brand, includes 3 main brushes, so you can choose the most appropriate one based on your needs and the type of floor:

  • First, the classic Brush Pro multifunction brush, which combines bristles and silicone to effectively capture dirt both on hard floors and especially on carpets, where it helps to remove dirt.
  • Un BestFriend Care rubber brush, with a studied design that prevents tangles, making it ideal for homes with pets and/or where there is a lot of hair.
  • The successful Jalisco brush, with a very high efficiency, especially on hard floors, where it is capable of capturing dust, that dirt that we cannot see but that is there, thanks to its millions of microfibers.

Autonomy

This robot stands out in all sections, but In terms of autonomy, it is far above other competing models..

La Conga 4690 Ultra is equipped with a high-capacity lithium battery, with no more and no less than 6.400 mAh. Together with its optimized management, it provides autonomy of nothing more and nothing less than up to 5 hours.

With this impressive battery life, you can clean large homes without needing to recharge. As usual in high-end robots, It also has loading and continuation, thanks to Total Surface 2.0 technology, so if it doesn't finish, it returns to the base and, once charged, resumes cleaning where it left off.

Conga 4690 Ultra cleaning
  • By having such a wide autonomy, It usually won't have to be recharged in the middle of cleaning, as other robots do, finishing the task in less time.

Thanks to its intelligent navigation system, the 4690 Ultra cleans very quickly (as a guide, one square meter per minute), so this autonomy allows it to cover very large surfaces.

Logically, the autonomy depends on the power used (since we must remember that this robot has 3 power levels), but in any case, It is far above other high-end alternatives, which are usually between 2 and 2,5 hours, or in some specific cases they reach up to 3 hours.

Cleaning plans and scheduling

With the Conga 4690 you can easily define what you want to clean, thanks to Room Plan technology.

The robot incorporates version 2.0 of said technology. In this way, in addition to defining up to 50 cleaning plans, You can set a cleaning mode and a different power level for each room, in addition to the order in which the rooms are cleaned.

Conga 4690 Ultra Room Plan 2.0

Define cleaning however you want with Room Plan 2.0

For example, a cleaning plan could be to clean the living room and the hallway, as they are the rooms with the most traffic or the ones in which the most time is spent. With Room Plan 2.0 technology, we can also define that the room cleans in automatic mode and high power and the hallway in edge mode and medium power, and that it does so in that order.

Set the order as you wish

La Conga 4690 can save up to 5 maps and 50 cleaning plans. As usual, we can also establish restricted areas, which the robot will not access.

Thanks to its advanced software, the Conga 4690 Ultra will clean exactly how we want; besides, The cleaning plans are saved, configured to start them whenever we want, either directly or by scheduling them so that they can be carried out on the days and at the times we want.

More complete cleaning with intensive scrubbing

La Conga 4690 Ultra is a 4-in-1 robot, which not only sweeps and vacuums, but also mops and scrubs. Additionally, it includes the most advanced scrubbing technology within multifunction robot vacuum cleaners.

Thanks to Scrubbing technology, the robot makes a back-and-forth movement in the shape of a palm tree, moving back and forth, similar to what we do when we wash.

Intensive scrubbing

On the other hand, its Wash4You technology allows you control and dose the water level at 3 different levels, so that we can adapt the water flow to the cleaning needs of each moment and the type of soil.

The microfiber mop in two materials also contributes to good mopping results.. In addition, it can be used dry, to capture more dirt on hard floors; If you moisten it slightly with a specific spray, your parquet will shine like never before.

Cleaning modes

La Conga 4690 Ultra It is a highly configurable robot; As we have seen, it includes 3 power levels (Eco, Normal and Turbo) and 3 scrubbing levels, and they can be defined for each room, or even the order in which the rooms are cleaned.

In addition, the robot has 10 cleaning modes, which allows for wide variety of cleaning combinations, you can configure it exactly to your liking:

  • Auto mode: It is the most used mode; In it, the robot It will go through the entire map until the cleaning is finished. If despite her enormous autonomy, she does not finish, she returns to base and then resumes cleaning where he left off.
  • Edges: A common mode in most robots, ideal to clean nooks and corners, where dirt usually accumulates.
  • Spiral: Another classic mode. When activated, the robot will make increasingly wider spirals around that point, very interesting if something has been dropped and scattered in a specific area.
  • Manual: To control the robot manually, as if it were a remote controlled car, ideal for moving the robot without carrying it by hand, with greater comfort and also avoiding disorientation.
  • Returning home: Although the robot returns to the base automatically, it also We can send it to the base manually with this mode.
  • Twice: If we activate this mode, the robot will make more than one pass in each place, so It is useful for a super thorough cleaning.
  • Scrubbing: Cecotec's exclusive technology to achieve the best scrubbing result, thanks to the back and forth movement made by the robot.
  • Spot Mode: If we want to clean under the table after eating, for example, or small areas of about 2x2 meters.
  • Restricted area: We can set on the map areas that the robot will not access, such as a room where a baby sleeps, the pet bowl, or a rug when you are scrubbing.
  • Smart area: To clean one or several rooms, as you prefer.

  1. Hello, I recently bought this model of Conga 4690 ultra and I would like to know if to clean on a different floor it is necessary to move the base. I have uploaded the conga to the first floor and it started cleaning but it did not generate any map for me and I had to turn it off manually since it appeared offline and nothing was saved.
Every time I want to change floors, do I also have to bring the base or is it just the first time until the map is generated and then I can leave the base downstairs and clean it upstairs? What happens if I don't raise the base, where does it go when the cleaning is finished?
    Thank you very much.
    Greetings,

    • Hello, Lorena, thank you for coming to our website.

Raising the base to the other floor allows it to return to it after finishing cleaning, but if you don't want to do so, the robot will map the same and cover the entire surface. If it goes offline, we imagine it is because the Wi-Fi does not reach you well on that floor (even if it works on a mobile phone, the robot may not detect it, since they are different types of devices). As for the stairs, like other robots, it has sensors at the bottom that, when approaching the void, detect that there is nothing underneath and prevent the robot from continuing, so in that sense there is no problem ( All you have to do is clean the sensors periodically).

  2. Good, I have the conga 4690 for a week now and I have several doubts... it says that it should not be charged with the water tank on... but if I program it to clean while I am not at home, when it finishes cleaning it would go alone to its base. load...how do I make sure it doesn't go to its base once I finish cleaning with the water tank? Do I unplug the base and it doesn't come back? Another question is…I made the map of the floor above and left the base below…is it necessary that when I go to clean the upper floor the base is also on top? Or can I leave it in its usual place below?… Another thing is… is it normal that the water tank is constantly dripping a little even though it is not working? Thank you so much

    • Hello, Pepi, thank you for coming to our website.

It is generally advisable to use this type of appliance to clean it when you are at home or are going to return soon. The recommendation is made precisely for this reason, the robot may continue to release some water, and if it returns to the base it could get wet. One possibility would be to remove the base from its place and put it to mop, although you would still have the problem that when you finish it could be releasing a little water, if it remains after having mopped, or that it has soaked the mop (another option that What you could do would be to put less water in the tank, so that it runs out, although this way you could leave some areas without scrubbing).

  3. Good morning:

I want to buy this model conga, but I don't have Wi-Fi at home. When I need to use Wi-Fi I use my phone as if it were a router, and I don't use it like that 24 hours a day. I would like to know if in my case it is worth buying it or not, since from what I see in the comments, it is practically useless if you can't use the app, and in that case I would go buy an older model, much cheaper. The features of this one are much better, but I don't quite understand that they can only be used with Wi-Fi. I hope you can resolve my doubt. Thank you.

    • Hello, Teresa, thank you for visiting our website.

The application provides you with advantages in terms of cleaning configuration possibilities, since you can predefine plans, clean by zones/rooms, create restricted areas that do not enter and choose from more types of cleaning. However, it's not that it's useless without it, far from it :-), and in this case it also has a remote control with which you can perform some functions.

Even without the app, a robot like this one, with laser navigation, the most advanced there is, is much better than a more basic one: it will go around the entire home quickly and efficiently (while others will go around randomly), and this one It has great power and can scrub; If you want to look at a more affordable one, we recommend that it at least has gyroscope-based navigation, not as advanced as laser, but that allows you to move in an orderly and systematic way, you have, for example, the Conga 1790 Ultra, you can see the analysis here.

Well, I've been with me for 20 days. conga 4690 and this morning when I put it on it tells me that it is not charged, I should charge it, and it has been placed on the base for 2 days without moving, it is in orange, I have turned it off and turned it on again and nothing, it does nothing at all it just tells me I charge it, what do I do?

    • Hello, Montaña, thank you for coming to our website.

You can try moving the base around, perhaps in the place where it is there is a small misalignment and it does not sit well on the base when loading (if you move it a lot, you may have to map again).

  6. Every day I understand this APP less and less, right now it is doing the second floor, without any plan (but it does it well) it keeps asking me if these are the rooms on the second floor with the plan of the first and it takes 10 m2 cleaning in 9 minutes the second…. anyway…. If it is already difficult for me to understand the intuition of the manual and the APP... I understand this less... Now it says that it is offline...
    Do Cecotec do updates?
Will I have the correct APP, do I still have another robot's installed?
The machine seems like a piece of cake to me, but the application leaves a lot to be desired... Be careful not to criticize the part of managing the mobility solutions and way of working the robot, I think this part is a good achievement and the management is quite meritorious, if not the connectivity and management of the APP

    • Hello, Jordi, thank you for visiting our website.

As I'm sure you already know, with the Conga 4690 you can have several maps, so you can have several floors and on each of them have your cleaning plans or do custom cleanings (you can take a look at This Video to review some of the options).

The app does make updates to introduce improvements or correct errors; It seems that there has been some problem on the servers these days, but we assume that they will solve it shortly, if they haven't already (we haven't experienced it on our robots, so we can't tell you).

    • Hello, Chelo, thank you for coming to our website.

First of all, try entering the robot's configuration and/or logging out and logging in again, with that it often reconnects. We understand that on your mobile you are connected to the 2,4 GHz network, right? If it doesn't reconnect you, try doing the connection process again from scratch, as if you were adding another robot.

  8. Hello! I don't understand well with the lights. If I understand correctly, when it is ready to work it turns blue, the same while cleaning, but when it finishes and returns to base should it be flashing orange or blue? And when it is already in the base and loaded? When my vacuum cleaner arrives and stays on the base, it sometimes stays blue, sometimes orange, and changes color simply by touching it lightly on the base.

    Reply
    • Hello, Amparo, thank you for visiting our website.

Yes, when it is ready it is blue and when it is loaded too; when it returns, in flashing orange. Regarding the topic of the base, when it arrives it will load in flashing orange and when it finishes in blue; It is possible that what you are saying is that it is blue (charged) and when you move it slightly it starts flashing (trying to charge again) and then turns blue again (because it is already charged); You can also check that where the base is, it makes good contact and that it has not moved.

  9. Good afternoon, I have the conga 4690 and I managed to connect it without problems the first day, the thing is that it disconnected, went offline and I couldn't connect again, so I deleted the robot from the application with the idea of linking it again, the problem is that now it It gets caught in the first step of the link "Sending a message to the robot" and when it tries to connect to the network that broadcasts it, it cannot configure the IP.
Cecotec customer service only knows how to say "are you on a 2,4 or 5 network?" but according to the manual that shouldn't matter since it supports both and with neither I can get the robot to link to the application again and with the remote control you can't use even a third of the functions.
Do you have any idea how to solve the problem?

    • Hello, Joaquín, thank you for visiting us.

It's hard to know why you get stuck at that step. Although we assume that you already do it, when making the connection it is advisable to have both the robot and the mobile phone close to the router. Another issue that is usually advisable (in general, in robots that can be controlled by app) is that the mobile phone is previously connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you are going to use to make the connection. You're already telling us.

First of all, congratulate you for your work.

I am writing to ask for help and advice based on your experience, second Conga 4690 ultra that I have at home and same errors: it continually goes "offline", with everything being perfectly configured. It seems that when the internal router has been connected for a few hours it crashes and you have to pay for it and turn it on so that it can reconnect to the home router.

There are many customers who have the same error, as can be seen in the comments of the app on Google or in other forums. Do you think there is a solution or is it a problem with this model? After contacting CECOTEC SAT 6 times I still have no solution, I insist 2 robots have the same failures….

Normally, both in this robot and in others, the connection is reestablished by entering a configuration section within the app itself (for example, in settings). At that moment, the robot retries the connection and usually reconnects with that. On the other hand, let me tell you that comments are not published automatically.

        • Hello, Santiago, don't worry 🙂

Another thing that could happen (we don't know if it could work in your case) is that there is not a good connection between the router and the base, and that could be solved by moving the base to a place closer to the router (in that case, it is best to clear the map and map again, starting clearing from the new base location). Even if you have a good connection with your cell phone, the robot does not have to have it, since cell phones are communication devices and are more tuned in this sense.

  13. Hi very good!

I've had it for a week and I'm trying things and seeing how it works. It's my first robot vacuum cleaner and the truth is that I have quite a few unresolved questions.
    1. There is talk of 10 cleaning modes, but when vacuuming, I only get automatic and edges, nothing spiral or punctual appears.
    2. I made the mistake when I opened it, I connected it and it started making the map without having fully loaded, at first it did the mapping well, but then two robots appeared in the app, so I deleted one and the ones were deleted. two. When I linked it again, the map and so on appeared, but it's as if one of the first programs I put on was hidden and it starts up every day at 11 when I don't have any program at that time.
The fact is that I have deleted the maps and programs and I wanted to start from scratch, would I have to reset somehow? Or is it okay to delete the old maps?

Thank you very much for the great article and for responding to all the comments!

If you enter the cleaning configuration, depending on the version of the app you will be able to see the different cleaning modes already displayed, or by clicking on the cleaning mode (which by default will appear Auto), the rest will appear (if you want you can take a look at This Video).

On the other hand, to start from scratch you can enter the robot configuration (in settings-robot-general settings) and there you have the option to Reset robot. Then you start working from scratch, map again, divide the rooms to your liking, etc.

  14. Hello, I would like to know how to introduce zones in a room that has carpets, I only see carpets from the turbo application but I don't know how to tell or configure where there is one.
    Thanks a greeting

    • Hello, Diego, thank you for coming to our website.

La Conga 4690 recognizes carpets to activate Turbo mode through sensors, but does not mark them on the map (as, for example, the Conga 7090).

Depending on what you want to do with the carpet, you have two options: if what you want is to specifically clean that carpet, you can do it with the Zone cleaning mode, drawing it directly on the map; If you want to prevent him from climbing on it (for example, when he is scrubbing), you can create a restricted area when cleaning.

  15. I would like to know if the 4690 robot returns to base once the cleaning is finished. Because it doesn't last 300 minutes for me. Thank you

    • Hello, María Jesús, thank you for coming to our website.

Yes, it comes back on its own when the battery is running low or when cleaning is finished (if it is finished, it returns home regardless of how much time has passed).

The battery life depends on the selected power level (the maximum duration in the eco power level, and the shortest if it is set to maximum power), the obstacles there are and the shape of the house (the more obstacles and The more turns the robot has to make, the more battery it consumes) and the type of floor (it uses more on carpets than on hard floors).

    • Hello, Francisco Javier, thank you for coming to our website.

It can be used in cases where you see that the robot makes some strange movement or does not clean in an orderly manner, as if it were a kind of sensor reset; If the robot works correctly, there is no need to do this.

  16. Hello, I'm Marisa, I would like to know if the conga 4690 has to always be plugged in, or on the contrary I can disconnect it once charged, thank you.

    A greeting!

    • Hello, Marisa, thank you for coming to our website.

This robot, like others, is recommended to be in the charging base and plugged in, consumption is minimal and thus it is always ready to work and the battery is in optimal condition. Only if you are going to have a long time without working (for example, several weeks) is it recommended to remove it from the base.

  18. I just received it, everything very well packed in its box, all the gadgets to put on it, BUT how do you put them on? THERE IS NOT A DAMN PLANE or clear instructions. There is a very nice notebook in three hundred languages, I am Spanish, I speak Spanish, I read Spanish and I bought it to use in Spain. Does it cost that much to make an A1 size plan if it is necessary to say what each damn piece is, what it is for? and how is it used???
Among others, a remote control comes out; Nowhere does he say that the batteries are for him, you have to imagine it, you put them in and whatever he wants appears on the display, how do you program that damn remote?
There are some large pieces in the box that nowhere explain how to put them on, take them off... what they are for...
The brushes or curlers or whatever they call them, they come out three, it doesn't make anything clear what each one is for, the flat thing that I deduce (because nowhere does it say what it is, or how it is placed) is the mop, then it comes out that it doesn't. I don't know if it's to put on top or as a replacement, there are two kinds of three-armed stars with Nylon hairs on each arm. What is it? where are they placed? ; what are they for?.
A large adhesive vinyl sticker comes out with the photo; removable; of the device. What is it for?
The garbage that it collects (if it does), how do you remove it or empty it or whatever?
He who has given birth to everything surely knows everything, but damn the ways to explain it.
He is the wise professor who knows a lot, but has no idea how to transmit what he knows.
And... don't tell me that everything is on the internet, because it is pure lies and bullshit. Also, does everyone have to know how to handle themselves here? . I am already 80 years old, I bought that thing and so that my wife works less if possible, not so that I have to pay a super engineer in «Congas» so that I can get it started and explain to my wife how it gets started, it is this and... I know which.
Mobile application? What mobile? The Telephone Dome?
I just want a piece of junk that I can throw around the house, the bar and clean it and then I throw the waste in the trash, like I do with the manual broom, come on.
Well, okay, I've already let off steam, one more thing to send to the rich man in the storage room and forget about the 400 or so euros paid.

    • Hello, Eduardo, thank you for coming to our website.

Yes, sometimes it can be complicated to deal with so many accessories, we will try to explain what we can.

Once you put the batteries in the remote control, in principle you can operate the robot with it, by pressing the central button, which is play, you start it, and it will work in automatic mode, going through all the rooms until finished and then returning to the charging base (if it doesn't finish the whole house, it returns to the base to charge and then resumes cleaning to finish it).

You can also start the robot by simply pressing the button on its top and it will also clean in automatic mode.

To start a cleaning, whatever method you use, it is best that the robot always starts it from the charging base, so that it then knows where it is (the base has to be plugged in, the robot will be on stand-by). .

You have 3 brushes, each specialized in its own: the one that mixes rubber and bristles is multifunction, for cleaning hard floors and carpets; the black rubber one, for homes with pets, because it is anti-tangle; and the blue microfiber Jalisco, specialized in hard floors, because it collects dust better (in practice, we usually use the latter).

To put/exchange them, you remove the lid by pressing the tabs and insert the brush (there is only one way to fit it, because it has a different shape on each side, you have to fit the protruding part into the corresponding hole). Then put the lid back on and that's it.
The sticker is for decoration, if you want you can put it on and if not then nothing.

To empty the tank, press the tab on it and pull outwards to remove it (to insert it, you do the opposite).
You also get a small tool with a small blade and some bristles, to free the brushes from hair and other dirt that may get tangled.

      Anything, you tell us.

    • Hello Eduardo, you don't know how I understand you, I'm not 80 but I am 60, and it's the first thing I thought when I saw the manual, the application will be intuitive, but the manual brings them to you, the images are numbered but in the text there are no mention them, for example, image no. 3, you have to IMAGINE that what you see is the "Mixed Deposit" and you deduce it because it has 3 points from 1 to 3 and the explanation also has from 1 to 3 (and because there is only one other which has 3 numbers and is the Robot's number and you understand that that is not it).
You continue reading and find in point 3, Installation, “Place the charging base…….. indicated in the following drawing” WHERE THE HELL IS THE FOLLOWING DRAWING? It will be in the previous drawings, in one of them if you intuit it!!!
Gentlemen who make the manuals, (the machine will be Chinese, but the engineering is Spanish) put yourselves in our place, not everyone has overflowing intuition, without going any further, mine is, I have mine in the back, so be careful a little more.

Anyway, and my question, in a house with several levels, ground floor two levels and upper floor 3 levels, I carry out the 5 mappings, and I would like to go to work and leave the house. conga That it starts up every day on a level, because they still don't go up and down steps (too bad). Should I put the base on each level for it to park? That would be your thing, because otherwise what will the robot do in circles to park? I received it last week and I'm doing tests to see if I can figure it out.

      • Hello, Jordi, thank you for visiting our website, we hope that our explanations can be of help to you :-).

Yes, you are right, the ideal is to place the charging base on each level, and map and start cleaning from it, so the robot will have it located on each plane and can return to it when finished.

      • Hello, it's been 1 week and I can't get it to connect the first time I connect, but I can't connect it anymore. I have deleted the robot several times and it does not connect, it detects it so it does not let me turn it on. It can be programmed from the app outside of Wi-Fi. You can use two different devices for the robot. If I cannot connect it from Wi-Fi, I would have to return it. Or do I have to delete the application and reinstall it. Does the base always have to be charged? Thank you

        • Hello, Noelia, thank you for visiting us.

When configuring the connection, it is recommended that both the robot and the mobile phone from which it is made be close to the router to promote connectivity. Previously connect your mobile to the network you are going to use, as this usually helps. Preferably use the 2,4 GHz network, which has more range. If it doesn't work for you with a mobile phone, you can try another one, although with this brand we have never had compatibility problems in this sense, in others we have seen that this sometimes happen.
