Karcher, the leader in water solutions

Karcher

Karcher is a German company, founded by engineer Alfred Kärcher in 1935. With more than 80 years of history, today this family business has become an important multinational, present in 160 countries, and with a turnover that exceeds 2.000 millions of euros.

Their designs are robust and well finished (typically German, you could say), and are distinguished by the yellow color, characteristic of the brand (if you want another color... perhaps you should think about another brand).

Karcher analysis

Today, Karcher is the world leader in pressure water cleaning, not only for domestic use, but also for professional and industrial cleaning.

  • In fact, in some countries, such as Germany, the United Kingdom, France, or Mexico, Karcher is used synonymously with high pressure water cleaning (in the same way that in Spain, for example, paper tissues are often called kleenex).

Why Karcher leads the way in water cleaning

With more than 80 years behind it, the German company has been offering water cleaning solutions since 1950. That year, Karcher launched its first high-pressure water cleaner, in this case, hot water; and with a system so innovative that today, it is still the one on which the burners are based.

In 1974, the company focused its activities on cleaning with water, developing products for industrial and professional cleaning (vehicles, buildings...). Its range of products has been gradually growing, including not only pressure water cleaners, but also many water-related devices and installations, among others:

Vacuum cleaners with water filter (like the excellent DS 6), wet and dry vacuum cleaners (such as the WD 3, whose analyzes you can see on our website), floor sweepers and scrubbers, car wash bridges, steam cleaners and detergents, wastewater recycling and water purification facilities, irrigation and drainage pumps, multifunction sweepers, etc.

In this way, Karcher has become the great specialist in water cleaning worldwide in all areas, both domestic and professional/industrial. "Solid and functional products, which do their job well and meet or even exceed the expectations of their users."
