Under its slogan "better every day", DeLonghi has been building its history, forming part of millions of homes not only in his country of birth, Italy, but also in Europe and worldwide.

Born in 1974, the Treviso-based firm began manufacturing an electric oil radiator, at a time when there was an oil crisis, achieving enormous success.

From there, the company would begin to grow, expanding its product portfolio and markets, opening its first international headquarters in 1985, located in the iconic Empire State Building in New York.

One year later, the brand would launch another of its greatest successes on the market, the well-known DeLonghi Penguin, a portable air conditioner that brought a more comfortable environment to millions of homes.

In 2001 it acquired another important appliance brand, the British Kenwood, a leading manufacturer of kitchen robots, beginning an inorganic growth that has allowed it to position itself as one of the main European brands. In that same year, it began trading on the Milan Stock Exchange. It also acquired the Italian firm Ariete, belonging to Kenwood.

In 2003 it launched its first super-automatic coffee machine on the market, and in 2004 it became a partner of Nespresso. for the distribution of capsule coffee machines, consolidating its leadership in this field since 2007.

In 2012 it acquired the German company Braun, a company with a notable presence in mixers and blenders, as well as personal care.

In 2017 it acquired 40% of Eversys, a Swiss company dedicated to professional automatic coffee machines.

In 2020 it acquired the American company Capital Brands Holdings Inc., world leader in the blender segment, through the Nutribullet and Magic Bullet brands.

His concern for exquisite design, not only aesthetically, but also functionally, in search of practical solutions, has allowed him to win prestigious international awards to design, such as the iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award.

DeLonghi is present in more than 120 markets worldwide, with more than 10.000 workers and a turnover of more than 3.000 million euros., with 6 factories, 7 technical centers and 30 commercial subsidiaries throughout the planet.
