Bongo, Cecotec's electric scooters to move quickly

Bongo is the new name of mobility. In 2018, the Cecotec brand surprised everyone with the launch of their first electric scooters. Three models with which it responded to a need that existed in the market, the to get around using a vehicle that is easy to handle, agile and ecological.

The Bongo Series

As we mentioned, the new range of Bongo scooters includes 4 series:

Serie A

The A Series are urban electric scooters, light and versatile.. They have a maximum power of 700 watts, to be able to climb the slopes, and thanks to their versatility and agility you can forget about looking for parking, traffic jams, etc.

They have aluminum structure, triple braking system (rear disc, electric and rear manual), led screen which shows the speed, battery and status of the scooter, and Mazinger system to fold fists and neck easily.

Its autonomy ranges from 20 kilometers in the most basic model, to 45 in the Series A Advance Connected Max. Besides, Its interchangeable battery system allows this autonomy to be doubled.

Series S

If you want a little more sportiness, the Series S is your thing. Good power and a more daring and dynamic aesthetic, are made of aluminum and magnesium, and its XL board allows you greater comfort and freedom of movement.

The S Series has Larger tubeless wheels (10 inches), XL GreatSkate wooden board and double braking system.

In addition, There are up to 8 different colors, so you can give a more exclusive touch to your scooter, and you can choose between two models, the S Infinity and the S Unlimited, which are differentiated by the capacity of their battery: the first has 30 kilometers of autonomy, while the second reaches 40, and both They have removable batteries, so this autonomy can be doubled.

Z Series

If we move to the Z Series, we find more robust scooters, with greater maximum power, which reaches 800 watts.

In addition, they have sporty rear-wheel drive, and 12 inch XL wheels, plus an XL GreatSkate wooden board and front and rear double disc brake.

Within the Z Series we can find several colors, and two subranges: the "plain" Z Series, more oriented to the city, and the Z Off Road Series, with knobby wheels, designed for riding in the countryside. Both reach 25 km/h, although the first has a little more autonomy (35 kilometers, compared to 30 for the Off Road version), precisely due to the design of its wheels.

Makalu

The Makalu is an old acquaintance, already presented by Cecotec past year. It is the most powerful Bongo alternative, with a maximum power of 1.600 watts and an autonomy of 30 kilometers.

Its large studded wheels are perfect for moving off-road, but you can also approve it for driving on public roads., thanks to its homologation kit, which includes rear-view mirrors, license plate holder, reflectors, speedometer and light support.

Includes double disc brake, speedometer, key lock and an XL GreatSkate board, plus a english seat to circulate more comfortably.
