ADVANTAGES OF INDUSTRIAL VACUUM CLEANERS

Industrial vacuum cleaners have some advantages over other types of devices:

Power

They are devices of great power, comparable to those of the most powerful sled vacuum cleaners, capable of vacuuming all types of materials.

Capacity

Wet and dry vacuum cleaners have large capacity tanks, much larger than other models (usually between 20 and 40 liters).

Robustness

They are very robust devices, often made of stainless steel, prepared to work in large areas, workshops, basements...

Effectiveness

Industrial vacuum cleaners are very effective, since they are capable of vacuuming all types of materials, both dry and wet: dust, dirt, sawdust, splinters, etc. Some even have a power outlet to connect the drill, saw or sander, and be able to directly vacuum up the chips and sawdust.

DISADVANTAGES OF INDUSTRIAL VACUUM CLEANERS

There are also some reasons why other alternatives might be better for you:

Weight :

Wet and dry vacuum cleaners are usually heavy devices.. Furthermore, since they have large capacity tanks, it is possible that we will have to carry a large number of kilograms. Although its wheels slide easily, this is still a handicap for some people.

Size

They are quite bulky devices, which influences not only their maneuverability, but also the ease of storing them.

Maneuverability

Their maneuverability is similar to that of other sled vacuum cleaners, and, therefore, they are more complicated to handle than other types of vacuum cleaners, such as stick vacuum cleaners.

The cable usually makes movements difficult and, in addition, in some cases, the cable is a little short (it is a detail that should be looked at when purchasing a model of this type).

Noise

They are not silent devices. In many cases, they are used outdoors or in large rooms, which is not so problematic, but it is difficult to find a model of this type that does not exceed 70 decibels.

Price

There is a wide variety of prices, depending on the functionalities we want or the accessories we want to add.

In any case, they are not cheap vacuum cleaners. Although we can find some models at quite affordable prices, in general, if we want them to have certain characteristics, we will have to scratch our pocket.
